Properties: Shown to incorporate ceramides (skin-identical lipids) into skin and can thereby restore barrier function of skin. Deeply moisturizes skin and increases bioavailability of ceramide VI by more than 38 %.
Use: Add to aqueous phase of formulas. Typical use level 1 - 15%. May lower viscosity when added to existing o/w emulsions. Viscous liquid. Store in refrigerator.
Application: Anti-aging / anti-wrinkle creams, lotions. Creams for sensitive & dry skin, sun care & after sun products. Shelf life about 6months when refrigerated.
